OWO 2024!

Welcome to Ondo Diaspora Festival, an annual celebration of Ondo State’s rich culture and heritage. In collaboration with the Office of the Governor of Ondo State Government, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, and Heritage Promotion in Nigeria, we are proud to present this platform for cultural preservation and investment promotion.

The Ondo Diaspora Festival is an annual festival that holds in Ondo state, rotationally among the eighteen local government areas as host. Owo Local Government is hosting the festival this year, that’s why the tag ‘OWO 2024’

The Festival

Ondo Diaspora Festival is another version of the various annual festivals in the eighteen local government of Nigeria, that considers dates that is suitable for Ondo state indigenes abroad to attend physically in Ondo state.

Using such six days festival platform to showcase creative culture of people of Ondo state, and investment potential in Ondo state before Ondo indigenes in diaspora and their friends who are in attendance to the event, and also transmits event live for global view.

As Owo community prepares to host maiden edition of Ondo Diaspora Festival in November 2024, organisers of Ondo Diaspora Festival specially thank festival coordinators in each of the eighteen local government areas in Ondo State, and the chairpersons of Ondo State Communities in United State of America, Europe, Canada, Africa, Asia, and States in Nigeria outside Ondo State, for their effort in keeping Ondo State culture flying in diaspora.

The Executive Governor of ondo state

We are delighted to announce that the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Lucky Aiyedatiwa, will be joining us as the Chief Host for the upcoming Ondo Diaspora Festival!As the head of Ondo State, Governor Aiyedatiwa is committed to promoting the rich cultural heritage and economic development of the region. His presence at the festival is a testament to the importance of celebrating and preserving our cultural traditions, as well as strengthening the connections between the diaspora community and our homeland.
